An Egyptian themed Chaos Knight from Warhammer 40K

As the scorching sun sets over the endless dunes, a faint rumble echoes across the desert. The ground trembles as the Living Tomb awakens from its slumber. A colossal construct of sandstone and gold, animated by the ancient magic of the long-lost pharaohs. It emerges from the depths of the world, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. It wanders the desert, seeking out those who would dare trespass on its sacred lands. Many have fallen to its mighty blows, and none have ever escaped its wrath.

Wanderlad on Reddit has delivered this amazing Chaos Knight, in an Egyptian theme. He used Green Stuff and a rolling pin to make the textures on the model and get to this unique result.

A lot of custom models, including this one, make extensive use of “Green Stuff” to sculpt new details or even completely modify a figurine. It’s a modeling epoxy that is easy to work with if you have the right tools, and is very affordable.

I have personally used the Green Stuff from Army Painter (not sponsored) and I can recommend it, but most others will work just as well. When it comes to learning how to use it, the small YouTube channel Last Light Creative has been a great resource for me.
